Set up and ran the DevOps environment for this RKE2 Kubernetes platform: its GitLab CI/CD automation pipelines, its Grafana and Prometheus monitoring stack, and its Redis, Kafka, and PostgreSQL servers. It stayed in production for roughly a year at ~100K transactions/day, with no service-impacting incidents originating on the DevOps infrastructure side.

Built the AWS cloud infrastructure for this project from scratch: provisioned Amazon EKS clusters with Terraform, added a managed Redis service and a self-hosted Kafka cluster on EC2, and codified the environment as reusable, version-controlled infrastructure.

Lead an internal developer platform built on Backstage, now adopted across 8 engineering teams (~60 developers). Seven in-house plugins, around 50,000 lines of TypeScript. The self-service query runner takes SQL and MongoDB scripts to production behind approval workflows, with data preview, schema-level access control, and a record of every run. Alongside it: nine kinds of DevOps request routed to the group that owns each one, deployment promotion between environments, schema drift comparison across dev, UAT, and production, and ticket-management, authorization-request, and release plugins.
